HJBC announcement

April 2024

We are sorry to inform everyone of the club's closure with immediate effect. Helenswood Sports Centre lettings has now been taken over by a company called Play Sport and due to their hire charges which is considerably more than we had been paying, it has been impossible for HJBC to continue playing there.

Alternative Venues

We have tried finding other facilities including Summerfields, Horntye Park, YMCA, Bexhill & Rye Leisure Centres. None have been suitable or courts were not available when we wanted to hire them.

Our Thanks

I would like to thank both players and parents for their support over the years and I am very sad to close the club, but I had no choice. It is my hope that many of our members will continue playing badminton and find another club. If there are any further developments I will let you all know. Once again thank you for all your support.
